01The short version
Morocco Motorbike gives you information about riding in Morocco. It does not give you guarantees. Roads, fuel, weather and conditions change faster than any app, and the final judgement about whether a route is safe to ride is always yours.
You can browse and ride without an account. Some features are sold as a subscription or as a one-off purchase, through Apple, on the usual Apple terms.
02Who you are agreeing with
Morocco Motorbike is published by Youssef Bitar, Auto-entrepreneur (Morocco), trading as Develop Better Solutions, Résidence Al Kawtar, Sidi Moumen, 20630 Casablanca, Morocco. Auto-entrepreneur No. 002112908000094, tax identifier (IF) 26051294. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Questions go to info@develop-better-solutions.com.
03Information, not a guarantee
This is the part that matters most, so it is said plainly. Every route, surface description, distance, riding time, fuel note and seasonal note in Morocco Motorbike is information to help you plan. None of it is a promise about what you will find on the day.
A road that was sealed last season may be gravel now. A fuel station that existed may be closed. Weather in the Atlas changes within an hour. The app shows where each piece of information came from and when it was last checked, precisely so you can judge how much to trust it.
You are responsible for your own safety, your licence, your insurance, your machine and your decisions on the road. Do not operate the app while riding. Do not rely on it as your only means of navigation, and do not rely on it in an emergency.
04What the app does not do
It is not a navigation system and gives no turn-by-turn directions. It does not call anyone for you. It does not know where you are unless you are recording a ride, and it does not share your position with us at any time.
A downloaded route pack works without a connection, but the map background does not: map tiles need a signal. The app says so wherever it matters rather than letting you discover it on a mountain pass.
Emergency telephone numbers are only shown when they have been verified. Where the app has none, it says so and tells you to write down the local numbers before you set off. Never plan on the app being the thing that reaches help.
05Subscriptions and purchases
Some features are sold. Everything to do with safety stays free, permanently, and the app is built so that a safety feature cannot be put behind a payment.
Purchases are made through your Apple Account and are governed by Apple's terms. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings, not in this app. We cannot cancel it for you and we never see your payment details.
A one-off purchase, such as a route pack, is not a subscription and does not renew. Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy, not by us.
06Content and what you may do with it
The routes, descriptions, photographs and the app itself belong to Develop Better Solutions. You may use them for your own riding. You may not resell them, republish them, or scrape the content out of the app to build something else.
Anything you create in the app, such as a trip you have planned or a ride you have recorded, is yours. It is stored on your phone and we never receive it.
07Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, injury, damage or expense arising from your use of it, from information in it that turned out to be out of date or wrong, or from the app being unavailable.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the parts that are not allowed simply do not apply to you.
08Changes, and ending this
These terms may change when the app changes. The date at the top of this page says when they were last revised, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the revised terms.
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. Deleting it removes the data held on your phone.
09Privacy, and which law applies
What the app does with your information is set out in the privacy policy. In short: there is no account, no server of ours, and your rides stay on your device.
These terms are governed by the law of Morocco, and the courts of Casablanca have jurisdiction, without affecting any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
