Why are my emails landing in spam?
Enter your domain or your email address. In a few seconds you see whether receiving servers can trust email from it: SPF, DKIM, DMARC and your mail servers, explained in plain words.
What we check
Mail servers (MX)
Which servers receive email for the domain, and which provider runs them.
SPF
The list of services allowed to send email for the domain, and whether it stays within the 10-lookup limit.
DKIM
Whether a signing key is published, under the names email services usually use or the one you give.
DMARC
What receivers are told to do with email that fails the checks, and whether you get reports.
MTA-STS
An optional setting that makes email sent to you travel encrypted.
Your provider
If we recognise who runs your email, we check that SPF lists them.
Questions, answered
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. The check reads public DNS records, the same ones every email server reads.
Do you keep the domain I check?
No. The lookups run in your browser through Cloudflare's public DNS resolver, so the domain never reaches our servers.
Everything is green but my emails still go to spam. Why?
These checks cover whether your domain can prove its email is genuine. Spam folders also depend on blocklists, the content of the email and the reputation of the tool that sends it. A green result rules out the most common cause, not every cause.
Why can't you find my DKIM key?
DKIM keys live under a name, the selector, that each sending service picks. We try the names most services use. If yours uses another one, add it in the optional field and check again.
